There will be two trophies for the Aberdeen City and Shire Most Active Primary Schools and one for the Most Active Academy School. The primary schools will be split into to groups i.e. the Large Primary Schools trophy for schools with a roll of 100 or more and the Small Primary Schools Trophy for primary schools with a roll of less than 100.  All schools in the 3 Local Authority areas of Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray are invited to take part in the Challenge.

The winning schools will be the Large Primary School, Small Primary School and the Academy School with most runners from that school taking part on the day.

Who can register to run for their school? If you go to Primary or Secondary school in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen or Moray you can register as a runner for your school.  All you have to do is enter on-line or using a paper entry form remembering to enter your school name on the entry form. If you don’t enter your school name your entry will not be counted. This competition is not about fastest times it’s all about participation!
