Petrofac Challenge (multi terrain race)

RunBalmoral has added this new event, sponsored by Petrofac, on Sunday 29th April 2012 at 11.00 Starting and finishing on the road adjacent to the cricket pitch the route follows the banks of the river Dee before climbing through the Estate to Glen Gelder.

Wonderful views of Lochnagar can be seen to the east and a magnificent panorama of the Cairngorms to the west. It then meanders along open moor land before descending through a pine forest back to the river Dee.

Petrofac Challenge (multi terrain 15 mile race) starts at 11.00 on Sunday 29th April 2012.

Online entry for this event is now open. Fill in our online entry form which is hosted by Aberdeenshire Council.

Please note your bank statement or credit card statement will show a payment to Aberdeenshire Council for this event.

Further, Balmoral Road Races Ltd Third Party liability policy will not necessarily indemnify participants in the event of a Third Party being injured solely due to the negligence of the participants. Balmoral Road Races Ltd Third Party liability policy will however meet claims from Third Parties arising from the negligence of Balmoral Races Ltd or its employees. Participants wishing to obtain cover for personal accident and Third Party liability are advised to contact an insurance company or broker.
